Well so Idol is over. With the winner being - Taylor Hicks. Well I can't take it. Idol is over. Just 1o weeks ago, Lisa sang Signed, Sealed N Delivered. 9 weeks ago it was Why Do Fools Fall In Love. 8 weeks ago was Because of You. 8 weeks ago she left.

The 10 weeks have gone by so fast. Actually the 5 months. From the early auditions. Remember Rhonneta Johnson? And remember Lisa? Who sang One Moment In Time? Paris? Oh Cowboy take me away?

Abortion

Many of us know the Abortion word as something normal. Something that kills unborn fetus. Yesterday we watched a video about the process of abortion. It was like taken way back in 1983. We were watching it and they were showing us the ultrasound scan of what is going on inside the womb while the abortion is taking place.

The Video itself

So the process is quite simple. Something like opening the cervix and then sucking out the liquid (whats it called?) of the uterus, so the baby is actually just floating around. And then a sucker takes out the baby. Since the baby's head is too big to be sucked, its crushed into small pieces first.

The Baby

I saw how calm and peaceful the fetus was before the abortion and then when the sucking thingy came into contact with the uterus, the baby tried to move away. It became restless and then half its body was sucked through a tube. And the head was just crushed.

Anti-Abortion
People say that its okay to have an abortion because we're not killing anything. We are. Isn't that fetus just a younger us? Didn't it too run away when felt threatened? Doesn't that show that it's just as much human as we are? Don't we go to court and get jailed for murdering someone?

If its a medical condition thats causing the abortion, its perfectly okay. But to kill a life because of YOUR carelessness. Your complacency. Your ignorance. And YOUR mistake. That's plain wrong.

So I urge whoever is reading this blog or post, to never ever allow anyone to undergo an abortion because they made a mistake.

Cross Country

Cross country. We're not even crossing anything are we? "Just" 4.8 km. JUST. We waited forever. And finally we started to run at 4.30pm. I found Timothy and followed Joshua and Benjamin Poo. We were walking, making fun of people (especially WWL) and then we started to RUN downhill. I soon got sores (ow).

I hate the fact that teachers like Mr Aaron Goh and Mr Alvin Chua talk to us while we are running. They are standing there so unaware to the sun beating down on them.

Finally we came to the road (halfway mark). And Timothy and I ran through the whole strech. And the end was in sight. It was FUN. I want to do it again.

So that was my cross country. I anticipated it a LOT. But well it was a great experience.

Moral of the day : Never be afraid of the unknown.

Today was the polling day holiday. Something really bad happened and I do NOT want to talk about it. I ended up getting a horrible haircut. Right. So then I went for lunch with Samuel. He made me go to j8 and we ended up eating in the foodcourt and I bought - chicken rice. I'm tired of it.

Well then I hopped on 410 to go HOME. Then Samuel calls me over. And I wanted to see his multi-million dollar house. It was beautiful. Then he chased me out. How rude. Then I went home and watched Idol. Idol was once again sucky. The past 2 weeks have been horrible. I hope tomorrow Taylor leaves. Kat rocked.

And I managed to finish the report on Racial Harmony. Woo. I got 500 + words. Quite happy with it. Hope the teacher reads it out and comments on how wonderful it was.

I reflected that today was a day well spent. I managed to finish my maths. I have learnt about the Animals in Sarajevo (Serbia) when I was watching a NGC special.

I learnt a lot that time can change a lot of peoples' words and actions. If every single person weren't rushing, there would be less fighting, killing, cursing and swearing.

But time is a luxury. We should try to use it wisely.

Okay so yesterday was inter-class soccer. Yuck. Serf and I decided to take a cab there with ME paying. Urgh. Why can't he pay a bit? Well then we were standing. Then 3 taxis came. And they all stopped for the 3 groups of people in front of us. I hate taxis. Then one EMPTY one practically came next to me and went to some old lady behind us. urgh. So then FINALLY caught a cab and then saw 151 which was like so packed. I would DIE if I were in that bus. Luckily, I wasn't. (: .

So then I discovered that the field was so gigantic. And that there were NO trees for me to rest on. Instead, there was this fence. So I was security officer and sat down there. Then guess who came along to take pictures of "cute-little-Jeremy". You got it. Jen. (: . So then like she took pictures without saying anything except a hi to me. So rude. So then Arjuna came over and we chatted. Then Marcus found out that he had lost his bottle under MY watch. I felt so freaking guilty and sad and scared. Urgh. Hopefully he finds it in class.

So then some IDIOT hit me in the face with a ball. And my glasses got bent. Took 74 home and then my glasses BROKE. Urgh. I couldn't see at all. And my parents decided to let me stay home. I also had a mild fever.

And then JEREMY comes along like a total dork and starts to control me on MSN. He says he'll kill me if he sees me on 57. Like wth. WHAT DID I DO? Well I did something wrong. I do NOT want to talk about it here. But I WILL take 57.

Went to get new glasses at Taka today. My maid came along and she's totallaye DUMB. I couldn't see where I was going and I ended up knocking some kind of glass thing. I had to pay 28 good dollars. Urgh. Then finally got to the spectacle shop where they offered me this really cute lens for 80. I had 50. God. So I bought this weird one and now I look dumber than ever ever ever ever EVER.

I want to go to Mac's. But I'm totallaye broke. Had disgusting food for lunch. I'm gonna order a pizza for dinner. (:

Vesak Day

Ok I don't celebrate it but to all those who do, Happy Vesak Day!! Okay so I haven't blogged since Tuesday and here's a short recap of what has happened since then.

Wednesday:

BIOLOGY! Okay I totally screwed up for the permanent contraceptive method. I wrote hystrectomy (removal of uterus). A lot of people said it was wrong but hey you can't get pregnant if you don't have a womb right?

And then Tracy Chan came and she kinda told us if we passed or failed. I FAILED MATHS AGAIN! But she said I was damn close to passing!

Thursday:

Got back Maths. I got 23.5/50. Not bad. Improved by 6 marks!! Hopefully its not the only component counted. Then I may pass TA2 maths. :)

Well Friday should go well for me. I'm going for the late night show tonight! Watching MI3 for the 4th time. URGH..

I WANT TO WATCH DA VINCI CODE. PEOPLE WHO WANT TO SNEAK IN WITH ME CAN SEND ME A SMS!!

Tuesday!

Well today was Maths! And it was pretty easy. Managed to do everything except for quadratic one. I still can't figure out the answer. So if anyone knows it, just hollaback kayy? Mrs Chan was invigilating then while she was collecting the papers, Cleopatra came in and ordered us to go to the lab. Then we were like filming and video - editting. And then after that, was English. Did a compre. Then History watched a Charlie Chaplin video.

Monday

Well today was HISTORY! And I'm quite confident. I was a bit stumped at the Short Structured section and was like "Curse History!". Then our invigilator was Ms Ghani (Ostrich like history lady who has a gigantic butt). She heard me say that and she felt a bit offended. She just stared at me for like 2 minutes? Then after that Mr Charles came in and he was distributing string. He was bouncing around and he scared me when in the middle of the paper, he exclaims "15 more minutes". I actually screamed. grr.

Then after that had recess and everyone was like discussing answer after answer. And I found out I had nothing wrong (YET). : D. Then we had Lit and I noticed that Mr Ghazali lost like 10 kg! And he wore his BOM belt again.

Then after that was Mr Shi's weird guitar lesson and Mdm Neo was scolding me for getting my coin stuck in the hole again. Mrs Tan was coloring. (: . Maths was FUNNY. Mrs Chan like gave us a survey to reflect on her teaching. And everyone was asking her questions and she lost control over the class totalaye. (New way of sayin totally)

PSE was another interesting lesson. Ms Wong came into our class and sucked the life out of us and brought us to the Com-Lab. Then she was ordering people - "Senthil roll that chair here! Zi Peng roll it back". But it was enjoyable luhh*.

After that went for lunch at Thomson Plaza and then came back home. I love home. Its so much nicer than school.

Day 1 of exams is OVER.

A Week!

Its been a week since I started to blog again. And it feels a bit weird. Tomorrow is history exam and I haven't gotten my USA facts properly. What were the causes of the boom? Why do they call it a boom instead of an inflation? The US Economy inflated. It sounds better than the Us Economy BOOMED?

Urgh. Well today I went for lunch with you-know-who at Suntec. Then after that I totally forgot it was my father's birthday and picked out some shirt for him and dropped it off at his club. Then followed you-know-who's family to Carrefour then they decided to buy pillows and bolsters! And they didn't bring the car so I was like carrying 2 pillows and 2 bolsters along Millenia Walk.

Came home and revised then started using the com. I have to call Treshan to help him with his History. Like I can. I got 28 last term? Hello?

urgh. Nagging started. (:

A night on the Wonderful Floor...

So last night I felt a bit weird and I was reading this book about feng-shui and they were like "Children should sleep on the ground to get a better shi". Something like that. And I decided to try it. I didn't have anything to sleep on except a sleeping bag or a stack of comforters. So I chose the obvious and I took my 2 pillows and bolster (is that how you spell it). I stupidly stacked up my comforter for that week and so I had nothing to cover me. And then the aircon was taking a LONG time to load up so I just switched it off and switched on the fan. Then it was like so stuffy. And I only have 9 comforters and so I could feel the ground. And its much colder sleeping down! So I managed to sleep on the ground till 4 a.m when I couldn't take the pain and got onto my warm,cosy bed. My night on the wonderful floor was over. (:

Exam Fever!

So its a School Friday. I so hate school fridays. All the periods are boring. We had PE and I had to run 2.4. It was a cloudy period so I and Zixun were like singing songs like "Its Raining Men" and "Come Clean". All the rain songs. During our second round it started to rain! Yay. Then PE was cancelled and I went to class. Then during Bio, my file was too thin and Jude Tan was like pinching and strangling me. Ouch! Then we had MT and I got 61 for TA 2. yay. A pass! Well then I decided to eat something for recess and it turned out to be the purple stall. Then I designed this cute dress and talked to Shaun occasionally during History. English was the second oral presentation. I was like so nervous to see Ms Wong STARING at me. She truly is so Zombie-ish. Then after that she nagged a bit at Keith for bringing a Crumpler bag. She was like "Stop playing with that bag. Isn't it worth a few hundred dollars? Why you bring such an expensive bag to school?". I mean. She wears MNG. Which is one of the dumbest labels ever. I agree with Clare. Who would name a clothing line after a FRUIT?

So then it was Info and I kind of enjoyed PSE as well. Yishu and John got a Pink form for making Mrs Ng (Pregnant Chinese Teacher) angry. .... . BIG thing. Then after school stayed back to study. Which I kind of did. (:

Today I plan to study from 9 to 11.30. Then its Survivor then BED. I want to wake up at 8 tomorrow and study History till 3. Then do some more math till 6. Then go out!!

So I'll hardly be online this weekend. Exams give me the butterflies. I hate exams. Exam fever has certainly hit the whole school. It was pretty empty after school and students are like FIRING questions at their teachers..

Gotta be scared

Okay so went to Bugis to catch a movie - And then since the Sentinel didn't have any more seats, decided to go to the nearby theatre which showed non-english movies. There we watched some Bollywood flick called "Gotta Be Scared".

The movie started with this fat guy deciding to go for a movie. He asks his mother for some money. And she says "Its too late to go for the movie on time" Then this guy says "I'll cut through the cemetry like I always do". The mother says "NO! Tonight is Friday the 13th! The witch will be out. Her anklets chiming is an indication that she's coming. And it will be chiming the whole time".

The son decides to disobey her and goes through the cemetry. Then he'll be mocking his mothers words and starts to kick mud at this certain tombstone. It reads "God is with you when you are alive and when you are dead". He then goes into the cinema. The movie is too boring so he falls asleep. Then suddenly some old lady appears in his dream and he wakes up. The movie is over. He decides to go back home and then walks through the cemetry again. Then this time as he is walking, he hears some kind of jingling noise. He gets a bit scared and tries to light a cigarette. His hands are trembling too much so he gives up and he continues on home. Then some kind of invisible thing grabs him. He manages to get free and then runs away. He reaches the end of the cemetry. He takes a moment to collect himself. Then RIGHT in front of him, some old lady stands. He gets a heart attack and dies. Then the camera shows that its actually just a billboard of the movie "Gotta Be Scared".

Then there's the usual song and erotic dance. After that, 5 children are exploring the woods. So then what happens is they come to this old bungalow. They decide to go back home when it starts to pour. So they take shelter in the bungalow. The kids names are:

Ashu (I feel touched)
Shobi
Johnny
Abi
Rokes

I made up all except the first.

So then after that this old lady talks to them. And then Shobi asks "Aren't you scared of living alone in such a big house?". Then she replies "I was not alone! My servant has gone to buy some medicines in the city." So then Ashu says "What is there to be scared of?" Then the lady's eyes grow super big and she says "You Gotta Be Scared. lets make a deal. i tell you 6 stories and by the end of it you will feel scared".


THATS ALL I'M SAYING. GO ENJOY THE CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE (YOU WON'T)
